Feifei was awarded Young Musician of the Gulf in 2009 and subsequently won the First Prizes in the 5th Kuwait Chopin Competition and 1st Gulf Chopin Competition in 2010. Upon winning, she was awarded a scholarship by the Polish Ministry of Culture to attend a master course with Janusz Olejniczak and a recital in Poland to mark the 200th anniversary of Chopin’s birth in 2010.

Feifei has broadcasted extensively on TV networks such as Al-Watan and Kuwait TV and other overseas services, and has given many highly acclaimed recitals throughout Europe, Asia, and United Kingdom.

Feifei began her study at the Royal Northern College of Music in 2011 upon winning an entrance scholarship. She was a semi-finalist of the William Matthias piano competition which took place in Canolfan, UK in 2012. She was a finalist at the Moray International Piano Competition and was awarded the Fourth Prize.

Whilst in the UK, she took up many performance opportunities such as recitals in St.Ann’s Church, Martin Harris Centre for Music and Drama. She also made her orchestral pianist appearance in the prestigious Bridgewater Hall.

Feifei also had the privilege of working alongside Michel Beroff, Mark Anderson, Thalia Myers, Barry Snyder and Stephen Hough in masterclasses.

Feifei is an enthusiastic and committed teacher who constantly adapts her teaching technique to suit the students’ need and has been lauded by parents and students alike due to her fun and engaging teaching style. She enjoys a 100% passing rate for her students’ ABRSM examination results. She had organised several students’ presentational concert and competitions for music students in Manchester in order to promote the significance of music in youth’s life. She has given masterclasses in Hong Kong and Kuwait.

Feifei recently graduated with a Master of Music degree (Intensive), under the tutelage of Paul Janes thanks to the support of ’Reggie and Ann Dennis Scholarship’.
